One of the highlights of a sleepover is to have some fun slumber party games and activities. One of the all-time favorite activities for parties is to have a scavenger hunt. This works best in a family-friendly neighborhood.

Scavenger Hunt Game

Have your guests form teams. Each team will then be given a list of common household items that they have to get from your neighbors. Allow 30 minutes time for this game. The winning team is the one who brings back the most items from the list. Should any teams finish early, the team that arrives back first are the winners. Some suggested items include:

• plastic spoon
• blue crayon
• jar of baby food
• roll of toilet paper
• dryer sheet
• red bow
• 2-for-1 coupon
• bottle of nail polish
• s'mores recipe
• small candle
• bag of microwave popcorn
• lipstick
• can of soda
• shoelace

This game can also be modified to play indoors. Simply have an adult hide a list of items in certain rooms of the house. Just be sure everyone knows which rooms they can go in and which rooms are off-limits.
