A crisp nip in the air bids a fond goodbye to muggy mornings. Orange pumpkins, and scarecrows, wearing blue coveralls and straw hats, sit on porches and line yards. Burgundy, penny copper, and golden – yellow leaves paint a beautiful fall canvas. The sights and pleasures of fall abound in the south.

"We're headed for the mountains this weekend." is a much heard phrase in my neighborhood. People flock to the mountains to view the fall colors gracing God's wonders. October and November are the peak months for leaf gazers.
