Alan Wake (360)

In this psychological thriller, a washed up writer finds his wife taken hostage in return for pages of a book that he does not recall writing. Despite this, the events described in his book become true before his eyes. Developer Remedy has stated that Alan Wake is the first "season" of a greater episode-style series.

The sleepy town Alan has relocated to has been overtaken by a mysterious and dark evil force. The only way to combat it is with light. By illuminating an object Alan is able to kill it.
