Video Games Playstation
Apple had a meek beginning in Cupertino, California in early 1976 as only a motherboard, named the Apple I and built by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. Since then, with Jobs as its president, Apple has become a huge factor in the electronics world. It manufactures some of the most innovative products, with the most gorgeous designs garnished by simplicity and detail, and always does its best to make sure that its products are of the highest quality and “just work.”
For some reason, video games are something that Apple has had a tendency to shy away from. Many computer users choose PCs over Apple Macintosh computers because only Windows plays their favorite games—despite the Mac’s ability to run Windows. There are very few games in development for Mac today, and for many, it’s unclear why.
However, Apple has lately shown huge interest in the video game world. According to Prince McLean of appleinsider.com, Apple has begun to hire video game designers, and may have been testing the waters a little by putting games on iPhones and iPod Touches. Mike Schramm of tuaw.com reports that other game executives and even console chip makers have also been hired, and many various patents have been picked up that range "from mixing up media and game environments to management of games acquired from a media server."
